Maintaining the DTC-300
The primary maintenance procedures described in this section are the customer’s responsibility. Any fur-
ther maintenance should be performed by a representative of TA Instruments or other qualified service per-
sonnel.
Cleaning the Test Stack Surface
Clean the stack surfaces with a lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol. Stronger solvents could cause issues
with the surfaces of the faces contacting the sample.
CAUTION: Before using any cleaning or decontamination method except those recommended by
TA Instruments, check with TA Instruments that the proposed method will not damage the instru-
ment.

Release the latches and open the front door.

Lift the guard heater to the top locking position.

Remove the bottom cooling block insulation, if installed.

Remove any samples in the stack.
5
Clean both the top and bottom stack surfaces with a lint-free cloth and a small amount of isopropyl alcohol.

Remove the two screws under the bottom stack.
