If a rail connection is wished, this occurs about the additional subassembly GT-02. This additional
subassembly is enclosed of the WD-PWxxx packaging.
Inserting the cables into the connector housing:
Each cable that has to be put into the connector, must be insert-
ed with the latch upwards (Type SM06B). The picture to the
right shows the barbed hook of the connector housing and a con-
tact of the coupling cable.
The cable may be inserted into the connector housing with a
small screw driver until it reaches the point where the crimp
contact has completely disappeared in the connector housing
and the cable will not disengage from the housing when it is
pulled slightly!
It is important to ensure that all cables are put in the correct po-
sitions as per the above table. This picture is an example for the
connection prodecure itself and does not necessarily show the
correct position in the relevant connector!
In correct connections can lead to a destruction of the decoder or
the connected modules. If a wire needs to be removed, use thin
screw driver to gently lift the barb up and gently pull on the ca-
ble.
Defective cable closures can be reordered as spare parts!
Overview of the function outputs of the WD-PWxxx
The wagon decoder WD-PWxxx has 4 function outputs, no matter how long it is. The light bar is
integrated and therefore doesn't count as output. The following table shows an overview of these
functions:
Where no function outputs on the decoder are used, it is no problem if the 6-pin connectors are
swapped over!
