5. Scope of delivery
Pump, operating manual and (depending on the model) water game accessories, filter sponge.
6. Placing in service
Important! The pump must not run dry. Damage is possible if the pump runs dry!
Completely immerse the pump in your pond. Water will penetrate into the pump body.
For underwater operation a water level of at least 20 cm is required, so that the pump does not take in air.
Only operate the pump at a maximum immersion depth of 1 m
!
The water temperature must not exceed 35°C.
The pump must be protected from freezing.
You can switch on the pump by plugging the mains plug into the power outlet.
To avoid unnecessary fouling, set up the pump above the silt deposits, so that it is stable and horizontal (stone
slab), in your pond!
7. Dismounting / mounting the pump
1. Comply with the safety measures.
Disconnect the pump from the mains supply!
2. Pull the filter sponge (12) from the inlet lid (4).
3. Turn the lid counterclockwise through approx. 20° in the oppposite direction to the stop.
4. Remove the lid from the pump (1).
5. Remove the complete rotor (3) from the pump (1). The shaft of the rotor is mounted on two rubber
6. bearings in the pump and in the lid.
Note: For technical reasons, the impeller and the magnet can be turned against each other by a certain angle.
7. Clean all parts using clear water so that they may be moved very easily. Avoid using any sharp instruments.
8. Re-assemble the pump as follows:
8.1. Completely insert the rotor into the pump.
8.2. Insert the inflow cover (4) twisted in the pump and turn clockwise to the stop.
8.3. Position the filter sponge (12) onto the lid.
For trouble-free operation, repeat this procedure depending on the degree of fouling and duration of operation.
