Analogue inputs
IN1
to
IN3
Universal line input for connecting any stereo audio device with unbalanced RCA
(Cinch) output.
IN4
Universal line input for connecting any stereo audio device with unbalanced RCA
(Cinch) output.
Input IN4 can be upgraded to form an input for an analogue turntable by fitting a Pho-
no MM or Phono MC module (optional accessories). To avoid possible hum noise when
connecting a turntable, the ground cable of the turntable should be connected to the
GND terminal.
IN5
Input and output sockets for connecting devices which can record and play back (re-
corders).
BALANCED IN1
This input is assigned to source IN1. If the balanced input BALANCED IN1 shall be
used, the switch in the connection field BALANCED must be set to „BAL“. In the switch
position „BAL“ the Cinch/RCA input (IN1) is disabled.

Digital inputs
USB
Socket for connecting a PC or MAC computer. This input accepts digital PCM stereo
signals with sampling rates in the range 44.1 to 384 kSps, and digital DSD stereo sig-
nals from DSD64 to DSD256. (MAC PC up to DSD128).
SP-DIF
Inputs for digital source devices with electrical S/P-DIF digital output. Digital stereo
signals with sampling rates from 32 to 192 kSps can be received.
OPT
Inputs for digital source devices with optical S/P-DIF digital output. Digital stereo
signals with sampling rates from 32 to 192 kSps can be received.
