Menu operation
Use the buttons to select an item in the menu.
Press the button to activate the selected menu item.
Use the buttons to change the settings.
Press the button to confirm the setting.
Press and hold the button to return to the previous menu level.
Alpha-numeric entry
To enter a source name, user data or network parameters, first activate the relevant input field with
the button.
If necessary, existing entries can be deleted by pressing the button repeatedly.
Press the buttons on the remote control handset: repeatedly until the desired letter appe-
ars on the screen. Briefly press the button to enter the next letter.
Press the button to confirm the entry.
Use the button for toggling between numbers, capitals and lower-case letters. The bottom
line of the screen shows which input mode is currently selected.

Function buttons
A brief press
Adds a favorite to the favorites list
In the system configuration menu: Activates a source
A long press
Removes a favorite from the favorites list.
In the system configuration menu: Deactivates a source
A brief press
Cycles through the various screen displays.
Detailed display with / without CD text / Radiotext (if present) and large display with / without CD
text / Radiotext (if present).
Switches between capitals and lower case, and numeric / letters, when entering data.
A long press
When necessary, repeated long presses of the button cycle through the various playback modes
(repeat track, repeat whole disc, etc.).
A brief press
Calls up the Favorites / Presets list for the currently active source (not available for all sources).
A long press
Switching between stereo and mono reception (only available for FM radio)
