Getting started
General information
For a quick start into the listening pleasure of your new multi-source player, this chapter describes the
most important steps for the first start-up and basic operation.
A detailed explanation of the operation and all functions can be found in the following chapters.
Scope of delivery
Infrared remote control handset FM200
Power cord
2 antennas for WLAN and Bluetooth
2 antenna bases for the WLAN and Bluetooth antenna
Radio antenna with adapter
USB interface cable for USB-SYS connection
(MP 200 to HA 200 or DAC 200)
System interface cable (RJ-45) for the SYS-OUT to SYS-IN connection
(MP 200 to HA 200 or DAC 200)
Set up
Set up the device at a appropriate place. Please observe all notes regarding connection and installation in
the chapter
Safety notes
(pages 10 and 11).
Connections
Establish all connections shown in the connection diagram. If you are operating the MP 200 via the LAN
connection, you do not need to connect the WLAN antenna.
When using the WLAN connection, the two antennas should be positioned as far away from each other as
possible.
Plug all connectors firmly into the corresponding sockets and screw the antenna connectors hand-tight.
The supplied radio antenna (cable antenna incl. adapter) must be unfolded completely and spread out in a
T-shape for proper radio reception.

The connection diagram (on the right side) shows the connection of the MP 200 in conjunction with a
DAC 200. The HA 200 is connected in the same way.
Please refer to the wiring diagram in the chapter Connection and wiring for connecting the MP 200 to
other devices.
