Time
In this menu you can adjust the time of day displayed on the
FD 100
. The hours and minutes are set using separate menu
points.
Stand-by
Here you can set the period after which the remote control handset
switches to stand-by mode. The
FD 100
switches automatically to
stand-by if it is not moved during the set period; the adjustment
range is 10 to 300 seconds. To switch the
FD 100
back on from
stand-by, all you need to do is pick the handset up, or press any
button.
Time at loading
At this point you can determine whether the
FD 100
continues to
display the time of day when it is in the docking station. If this
function is switched on, the time appears on the integral screen a
short while after you place the unit in the docking station.
Brightness
Here you can adjust the screen brightness to suit your personal
preference; the brightness can be set to any of three levels plus
“automatic”. In the automatic setting, the screen brightness is ad-
justed constantly in accordance with the ambient light level.
HKEY configuration
(hotkey)
This menu point determines the device which is assigned to an F-
button for faster access. If a device / Gateway is assigned to an F-
button, then you can connect to that device / Gateway more quick-
ly by pressing the corresponding F-button, as selected in this
menu.
Change language
At this point you can define the language for the system menu of
the
FD 100
. The possible settings are “german” and “english”.
Please note that the language used in transferred content is
determined by the linked device; the language set on the
FD 100
therefore has no effect on this content.
Rename device
If you intend to use the
FD 100
to control multiple devices, they
can be renamed at this point to help you differentiate between
them.
Delete device
If the
FD 100
was linked to multiple devices, it is possible at this
point to erase Gateways / devices from the
FD 100
which are no
longer required.
Disable motion
sensor
At this menu point you can switch off the motion sensor. If you
switch the sensor off, the
FD 100
can only be switched on from
stand-by mode by pressing any button.
This function should always be used if you have to transport the
FD 100
, in order to avoid discharging the battery unnecessarily.
Press the
button to confirm that the function is disabled,
then wait until the remote control handset switches to stand-by
mode. Do not press a button again until you wish to switch the
handset on once more. The motion sensor is re-activated as soon
as you press any button.
