Operation
Introduction
The
FD 100
should first be given a full charge (see section entitled
‘First use’).
In general terms the machines are operated in the way described
in the instructions supplied with each device. The following section
describes in detail the variations from this rule.
The
FD 100
is fitted with a motion sensor. When you pick up the
handset, it automatically switches itself on from stand-by mode
(this function can be temporarily disabled; see “Settings” section).
If the handset is not moved for a particular length of time, it
switches back to stand-by mode. The period is user-variable, and
can be adjusted in the “Settings” section.
Screen
The graphic screen displays information on the machine’s status
and the music track currently being played, together with list
navigation data and the
FD 100
’s system settings. The displays
are context-sensitive, and vary according to the capabilities and
facilities of the device being operated, as well as the service or
medium to which you are currently listening.
