Styling guide - Hair drying basics
1. Shampoo and condition your hair. Rinse the hair thoroughly. Put a towel around your hair to remove any
excess moisture. Divide your hair into sections and then, using the dryer along with a styling brush, direct
the hot air to each section of hair at a time. Move the dryer steadily across each section so that the hot air
passes through the hair. Always direct the air towards the hair and not directly at the scalp.
2. Keep dryer's air intake vents unobstructed and free from hair while using the dryer.
3. To avoid over-drying, do not concentrate heat on any one section for a long period of time. Keep the
dryer moving continuously as you style your hair.
4. For quick styling, dampen the hair with some water before styling.
5. When using the dryer to create curls and waves, dry the hair till it is almost completely dry on the
warmest setting (position 2), then finish styling the hair using the lower setting (position 1). This will set the
desired style in your hair.
6. This dryer includes a concentrator attachment. Use the concentrator when you need to focus the
drying power on small areas (such as a curl or a wave) or when you want to soften the curls.
