Operating and Programming Manual

 

Removing and Replacing the Internal Battery  

The batteries are supplied in a nearly-full charged state at 
instrument shipment.  Use ONLY the direct replacement batteries 
(part number 1420-0514, 2 required) for replacement.  
 
Use of any batteries other than the Battery Pack  (part number 1420-
0514) may result in damage to the instrument or impaired instrument 
performance.  
Use the following procedure to remove and replace the internal 
battery pack(s):

Open the Battery Access Panel on the rear panel of the instrument.  

 

2

 

Carefully  disconnect  the  two  battery  cables  from  their  mating  instrument 
connections.  

3

  Remove the battery pack(s) by sliding them out of the battery compartment.  

4

  Install the new battery pack(s) by sliding them into the battery compartment.  

5

  Re-connect the battery pack(s) cables to their mating instrument connections.  

 

6

  Apply ac power to the instrument: the batteries will begin charging.
