Options Menu
When you select the Options menu, its commands appear on screen.
New Memo Creates a new memo.
Delete Memo Opens an alert dialog, prompting you to confirm that you want to delete the
current memo. Tap the OK button to delete the memo from your SPT 1700
terminal, or tap the Cancel button to close the alert dialog and keep the memo.
Note: By default your SPT 1700 terminal removes the memo from the Memo
List, but retains a copy of the memo and transfers it to an archive file on
your computer the next time you perform a HotSync operation. To
remove the memo completely, clear the Save archive copy on PC check
box.
Beam Memo Beams the current memo to another SPT 1700 terminal through the IR port.
Beam Category Beams all memos in the current category to another terminal through the IR
port.
Font Opens the Select Font dialog where you can choose a different font (text)
style for your Memo Pad entries. See
Choosing Fonts on page 3-21 for
details.
Go to Top of Page Moves to the top (first) line of the memo.
Go to Bottom of Page Moves to the bottom (last) line of the memo.
Phone Lookup Activates the Phone Lookup feature, described in Using Phone Lookup on
page 4-4.
Preferences Activates the Memo Preferences dialog and enables you to define the sort
order for your memos.
