Status indicators
Four light-emitting diode (LED) indicators on
the rear face of the PTC-960X provide informa-
tion on the PTC’s status.
Charging
This green LED glows when the PTC is con-
nected to a battery charger and the nickel-cad-
mium battery pack is being recharged.
Good Scan
This green LED blinks once when a bar-code la-
bel has been scanned and decoded successfully.
You may also hear a beep after a successful scan.
The Good Scan indicator will not light if the bar
code has not been decoded, and the Scan indica-
tor will go out after 1 or 2 seconds.
One of two adapter cables,
part number 15109-001 or
15508-001, is required to
connect the PTC-960X to
an external accessory or
computer. One end of the
cable plugs into the acces-
sory connector on the PTC’s
left side, and the other
plugs into the accessory or into an additional
cable for the specific accessory or computer.
