Hotfix dialog box
Use the Hotfix dialog box to view, install and remove security gateway hotfixes.
To see if hotfixes are available, and to download them, go to the Symantec Web site,
http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/enterprise/select_product_updates.html.

Backup dialog box
Use the Backup dialog box to supply a backup password, and to initiate the backup of the security
gateway configuration.

New root password New password.
Passwords should only contain lowercase alphabetic characters, and should be
at least 10 characters long.
If the LCD panel is not locked and the new password contains digits or
punctuation characters, you are warned; however, you can still create the
password.
If the LCD panel is locked:

If the LCD panel is locked, the password must be 12 or fewer lowercase
letters in order to be entered on the LCD panel.
■
You cannot create the password unless it contains the required characters.
Verify new root password Confirms the new password.

Field Description
Hotfix list Shows the hotfixes that have been installed on your security gateway.
Install Hotfix Initiates the installation of a Hotfix.
It displays the Open dialog box, which lets you browse to the location of the hotfix file on
your system.
Uninstall Hotfix Uninstalls a hotfix that you have selected in the Hotfix list.
