Cluster Member Properties—General tab
On the Cluster Member Properties General tab, you can set the member weight.

Cluster Member Properties—Description tab
Optionally, provides an extended description. This information is useful to help track changes or it can
be used as criteria for searches.
The maximum length is 20,000 alphanumeric characters.
VIPs window
You may need to add, modify, or delete a virtual IP address used in a cluster.

Cluster Member Properties
Field
Description
Member ID
Displays the cluster member ID.
This field is read-only.
Weight
Weight is a number between 1 (least load) and 16 (most load).
Caption
An optional, brief description of the cluster member settings.
The maximum length is 128 characters.
For longer descriptions, use the Description tab.

VIPs window
Field
Description
Select interface for
VIP list
Available interfaces to which you can apply a VIP.
VIP address
VIPs that are currently associated with the selected interface. At least one VIP must be
associated with each interface; however, if there are more than two interfaces, and one is the
dedicated heartbeat interface, a VIP does not need to be assigned to the heartbeat interface.
You can assign up to 8 VIPs per interface, up to a maximum of 64 VIPs when there are 8
interfaces.
