RADIUS Properties—Description tab
Optionally, provides an extended description. This information is useful to help track changes or it can
be used as criteria for searches.
The maximum length is 20,000 alphanumeric characters.
SecurID Properties—General tab
RSA SecurID is a strong authentication method supported by the security gateway. To use RSA
SecurID authentication, you must install the RSA SecurID/Server software on your own internal
server, not the security gateway.
This form of authentication is normally supported for FTP, NNTP, and Telnet. It is supported for HTTP
when password reuse is enabled. When using authentication with HTTP, you must configure browser
security proxies.

Field
Description
Name
A unique name for the RSA SecurID authentication server record.
The maximum length is 256 characters.
Allowed characters include a-z, A-Z, numerals, periods (.), dashes (-), and underscores (_).
Do not include spaces in the name. The characters @,!,#,$,%,^,&,*,<,> and other reserved
characters are also invalid.
ACE Server Interface
Network interface through which the security gateway connects to the SecurID server.
Configuration data file
SecurID configuration file the security gateway uses to communicate with the SecurID
server. This file is normally called sdconf.rec, and is specific to the SecurID server that
generates it.
Caption
An optional, brief description of the SecurID server.
The maximum length is 128 characters.
For longer descriptions, use the Description tab.
Test Server
System wizard to test connectivity to the SecurID authentication server to verify the
security gateway is able to communicate properly for authentication.
