logserviced.applevel1.per_second
Threshold for log messages generated in a second by a single
security gateway application. If the number of generated messages
exceeds this threshold, all message above the threshold are dropped.
This helps prevent a single application from overloading the security
gateway’s processing ability.
The default value is 200.
logserviced.level1.per_hour
Threshold for log messages generated in an hour by the security
gateway. If the number of generated messages exceeds this
threshold, all message above the threshold are dropped. This helps
prevent a flood of log messages from overloading the security
gateway’s processing ability.
The default value is 20000.
logserviced.level1.per_minute
Threshold for log messages generated in a minute by the security
gateway. If the number of generated messages exceeds this
threshold, all message above the threshold are dropped. This helps
prevent a flood of log messages from overloading the security
gateway’s processing ability.
The default value is 2000.
logserviced.level1.per_second
Threshold for log messages generated in a second by the security
gateway. If the number of generated messages exceeds this
threshold, all message above the threshold are dropped. This helps
prevent a flood of log messages from overloading the security
gateway’s processing ability.
The default value is 200.
misc.logserviced.logsesa
Determines whether the logging service (logserviced) tracks
Symantec Enterprise Security Architecture (SESA) events.
The default value is false.
misc.ports.shortlived
Defines the ports that have short-lived connections.
The default value is 80.
misc.vpn.enabled
Enables the security gateway low level driver. You should not set this
to disable unless Symantec Technical Support instructs you to do so.
The default value is Enable.
non_RFC_language
Encoding language the HTT P proxy should use.
The default is UTF8
pop3d.max_line_length
Increases the maximum line length for a message. The lower and
upper level limits for this variable are 64 bytes and 4096 bytes (4 K)
respectively. If a message exceeds the maximum line length, the
POP3 proxy drops the message and terminates the connection.
The default value is 1024.
pop3d.passonascill
Determines whether the POP3 proxy allows non-ASCII characters in
the server responses. If set to false, the POP3 proxy removes all non-
ASCII characters before returning the response to the client.
The default value is false.
portcontrol.enable_tcp_ports
Specifies the TCP port to open.
The default value is 2456.
