If your network environment changes, you may want to change a network interface.
Prerequisites
None.
Changing a network interface
To update the cluster configuration when you change a network interface, complete the following
tasks:

Change the interface system settings

Update the cluster configuration
To change the interface system settings

Log on to any cluster member.

In the SGMI, on the Tools menu, select
System Setup Wizard
.

In the System Setup Wizard, click
Next
on each panel until the Network Interfaces panel displays.

In the Network Interfaces panel, select the interface.

Change any of the following:

In the Confirmation panel, click
Finish
.

Complete steps 1 through 6 for all cluster members.
To update the cluster configuration

In the SGMI, on the Tools menu, click
Cluster
>
Update Interfaces
.

On the Cluster Management Update Interface panel, view the actions that will be taken by the
cluster manager to verify the interface configurations on the cluster members.

Click
Next
.

On the Confirmation panel, verify that all cluster members have been contacted.

Click
Finish
.

When the configuration is complete, a message tells you that the cluster status has been updated.
To clear the message, click
OK
. The security gateway will reboot.
IP address
Type the IP address of the interface.
Interface type
Select Inside or Outside as the interface type.
Netmask
Type the netmask of the interface.
