Changing cluster settings

In the Connect to New Cluster Member panel, do the following:

Next

In the Add/Remove Cluster Members panel, do one or more of the following:

To add another cluster member, check
Add another security gateway to this cluster
, and then
click
Next
.
■
If you are finished adding to this cluster, check
Finished modifying the cluster
, and then click
Next
.
■
Repeat for each new cluster member.

In the Confirmation panel, review your configuration, and then click
Finish.

Do one of the following:
■
If the configuration is successful, click
Close
.
■
If the configuration is unsuccessful, the cluster configuration tasks that could not be
completed are indicated by red checks in the left column of Task/Status table on the
Confirmation panel.
■
To exit out of the wizard and correct the problems, click
Cancel
.
When the configuration is complete, a message tells you that all cluster members must be rebooted
to activate the cluster.

To reboot immediately, click
OK
.

If you disabled redirected services before creating the cluster, edit the redirected services to
substitute VIPs for the redirected addresses, and then re-enable the services.

User name
Type the name of the administrator of the new cluster member.
Allowed settings are a-z, A-Z, periods (.), dashes (-), and underscores (_).
Do not include spaces in the user name. The characters @,!,#,$,%,^,&,*,<,> and other reserved
characters are also invalid.
Password
Type the password for the administrator of the new cluster member.
