“DNS Mail Server Record Properties—General tab”
Defining the server that performs lookups with a DNS name server record
The DNS server supports defining name servers for a domain. The name server entry marks the
authoritative servers to consult when performing DNS lookups for a host in that domain.
Depending on the size and complexity of your internal networks, you may need to set up subdomains
within your primary domain.
Note:
DNS name server record can also be used to delegate naming authority to a zone authorized by
dnsd. This lets the secondary name server pulls zones from dnsd.
