Using the Package Deployment Tool
Table 10-1 details the status messages that the Package Deployment Tool
displays.

Deployment status messages
Icon Status Details
Pending The package deployment has not started.
In Progress The package deployment is in progress.
Additional details include the following:

Authenticating
■
Copying files
■
Executing
Error The deployment task experienced an error. When possible,
the tool displays details about the error.
Additional details include the following:
■
Failure launching deployment mechanism
■
Authentication failure
■
File copy failed
■
Unable to install remote service
■
Unable to start remote service
■
Failure executing
■
User interrupted
Unknown The status of the package deployment is unknown.
Complete The package deployment completed successfully.
If a product or command in the package is configured to
display a return code, the deployment tool displays that
code.
