NetBackup 5220 power module on/alarm LED

Possible causes



The AC power plug is not inserted properly.



Main AC power is not supplied.

Fault Diagnosis

A flow chart to help diagnose power-on failure is planned for a future release of this
document.

Procedure

Cause 1: The power plug is not inserted properly

Reconnect the plug.

Check the status of the power on/alarm indicator.



If the power on/alarm indicator is flashing green, power to the
device is active. If the system power indicator is on, the fault is
removed.



If the power on/alarm indicator is amber, a power module alarm
occurs.

If the power on/alarm indicator is still off, check other

components for further analyses.
