8. Installation and connection
Do not mount or connect the product when it is connected to a power supply.
a) Removing the code lock/Preparing for installation
•
First unscrew the two fastening screws of the cover (
G
) at the bottom with the enclosed
Allen key.
• Remove the cover and take the code lock out of the casing.
b) Mounting the Wi-Fi module
•
Insert the supplied Wi-Fi module in the appropriate place (“
WiFi MODULE
”) on the circuit
board of the code lock.
Note the following illustration. It shows the Wi-Fi module (top) in top view and the part of the
code lock from the perspective of the circuit board.
The Wi-Fi module can only be attached in one direction, as the two terminal strips of
the module are designed as plugs

and sockets

. On the circuit board of the
code lock, the two terminal strips are designed exactly the opposite way round.
However, take special care that the 4 plug contacts on each side are always inserted
exactly into the respective 4 sockets.
