The Structure of the Entries in the Global Phonebook
In the first line of the display you will see the subscriber name and which entry (XX) of the total
number of entries (YY) is shown. In the second line you will see the telephone number and the
status of the subscriber, if available. The status indicates whether the subscriber is, e.g. logged
on or whether he is on the phone.
This is how you move through a Phoneboo

menu option “0 > Back”, on the other hand, are used to move one menu level higher without
saving your selection.
To make it easier to search for an entry in an extensive Phonebook, you can enter the first
letter of the subscriber’s name. This is done with the numeric keypad: for example, to enter
an “F”, press the “3” button three times, for an “S”, press the “7” button four times. The letter
entered for the search appears to the right in the first line of the display:
A beep and the insertion mark “_” prompt you to enter the next character.
In order to display more exact information, e.g. how to display the status for an entry, select
the corresponding entry and press

Within the entry, you can press

to call the subscriber.
To return to the telephone list, press “0”.
Personal Phonebook
You can add, modify or delete entries in your Personal Phonebook. If you have created a note
during a call, this will be added as a new entry in your Personal Phonebook (see chapter 6.5,
, page 79). Entries in the Caller List and in the Redial List can also be added to the Personal
Phonebook.
