Activating/deactivating call
screening
During recording of a message you can
screen calls via the loudspeaker of the
base station and registered handsets.

Setting up the answer machine
The answer machine has already been
preset at the factory. Make individual set-
tings using the handset.
Setting call acceptance
You can set when you want the answer
machine to answer a call.
The options are:
Immediately , 10 sec , 18 sec
or
30 sec
and
Auto
.
In Auto mode, the following applies for call
acceptance:
u If there are no new messages, the
answer machine answers a call after
18 seconds .
u If new messages are present, the
answer machine accepts a call after just
10 seconds .

connected directly.
