4.3. Establish Sample Flow

CAUTION
Pollution of the reagents

If the occlusion frames are not closed, sample may flow into the 

reagents.

Lock the occlusion frames before establishing the sample flow.

Single-channel

instrument

With a single-channel instrument, proceed as follows:

1

Switch on power.

2

Adjust the sample flow using the flow regulating valve [D] on the 

flow cell block of the constant head.

3

Start <Fill system>, see 

Fill or Flush Reagent System, p. 62

.

4

Check tube connections and flow cell for leaks and repair if 

necessary.

5

Let the instrument run-in for one hour.
