Important safety messages are also provided.
GETTING STARTED
NOTE: Your Sprayer has been spray tested before packing so may still be wet inside.
1.
Undo the tank lid and remove the Nozzle Set, Spare Parts Kit, Spotter Gun and Spray Shield.
2.
Remove the plug from the pump outlet at the base of the tank and then attach the hose
fitting.
3.
Attach the hose to the inlet of the handpiece. Do not over-tighten.
4.
Attach the lance to the outlet of the handpiece. Do not over-tighten.
5.
Select a nozzle and attach to the lance.
6.
Slide the lance holder into the grooves on the side of the tank.
7.
Fully charge the battery. The battery is charged before shipping but does self- discharge in
the course of storage, so additional charging is usually required. For the first few recharges
it is beneficial to top up the recharge three hours after the green light has indicated a full
charge. See Recharging the Battery
8.
Trial spray with 5 litres of fresh water. This is recommended to ensure there are no leaks. Fill
the tank through the filter and close the lid.
9.
Turn on the toggle Power Switch situated on the tank base. NOTE: By pressing the right
hand side of the switch (Setting II) the pump is fully engaged. By pressing the left hand side
of the switch (Setting I) the Pressure Rheostat is engaged.
10.
Press the spray lever on the handle to start spraying. Once started, slide the lever forward to
lock into position for continuous spraying as required.
11.
To use variable spray pressures, press the left hand side of the toggle Power Switch (I) and
turn the Pressure Rheostat Knob to obtain the desired pressure. NOTE: When using single-
hole or fan shaped nozzles always use low pressure.
12.
After spraying, flush the tank and the pump with fresh water to remove any spray residues.
Remove the tank drain cap to drain the last remaining liquid from the tank. Remove the
hose fitting to allow full draining of the pump. When completed replace the caps securely.
13.
NOTE: Calibrate your spraying.
