DC & DC-SW User Guide
Important Notes
1.
The DC and DC-SW down-converters have been designed to work
with COFDM signals. It converts the received RF signal to UHF band.
Excellent results in the signal quality are obtained and measured in
the Receiver.
2.
Different DC models are available, which cover from 1.3 to 10.5 GHz
in bands in case of DC and from 1.2 to 6.0 GHz in case of DC-SW.
3.
The equipment is powered by the Receiver. It can also be powered
using a Bias-Tee.
4.
The high performance of this equipment is only guaranteed when
using high quality cables and connectors.
5.
SVP Broadcast Microwave recommends the use of high-quality
connectors.
6.
It is advisable to use lightning protection both in the RF section and
in the IF.
