1E-11 Engine Lubrication System:
• Pass the oil hoses between the transfer cable and
front brake pipe.
• Apply thread lock to the oil cooler hose bolts (engine
side) (1) and tighten them to the specified torque.
• Clamp the oil hose (inlet) and speedometer cable.
: Thread lock cement 99000–32130
(THREAD LOCK CEMENT SUPER 1360 or
equivalent)
Tightening torque
Oil cooler hose bolt (engine side) (a): 10 N·m (1.0
kgf-m, 7.0 lb-ft)
• Install the oil cooler.
• Tighten the oil cooler hose bolts (oil cooler side) (2) to
the specified torque.
Tightening torque
Oil cooler hose bolt (oil cooler side) (b): 10 N·m (
1.0 kgf-m, 7.0 lb-ft)
• Pour engine oil. Refer to “Engine Oil and Filter
Replacement in Section 0B (Page 0B-7)”.
Oil Cooler Cleaning

Clean the oil cooler in the following procedures:
1) Remove the oil cooler. Refer to “Oil Cooler / Oil
Cooler Hose Removal and Installation (Page 1E-
10)”.
2) Blow out any foreign matter that is stuck in the oil
cooler fins using compressed air.
CAUTION
!
• Make sure not to bend the fins when using
compressed air.
• If compressed air is applied from the front
side, dirt will bi forced into the pores of oil
cooler.
