NOTE:
•
Recycle or properly dispose of
used oil.
• Before starting the work, check
that there is not any dust, mud,
or foreign object inside the oil
jug or on the oil filter mounting
surface.

4. Turn the oil filter

with a
Suzuki “cap type” oil filter
wrench or a “strap type” filter
wrench of the proper size and
remove the oil filter.
5. Wipe off the mounting surface

on the engine where the
new filter will be seated with a
clean rag.
NOTICE
Turning the engine while drain-
ing the engine oil will cause oil
film shortage and adversely
affect the engine.
Do not use the electric starter
switch during engine oil
replacement work.
