5.2.3 Serial
The serial port is located on the back of the SG-CPM5 via a RJ-45 port. An optional Y-cable connects to this port to allow a serial cable to be con-
nected. If a printer is to be connected, then a straight-through serial female-female cable should be used.

5.3 AHS table management
New and modified AHS entries that are generated by incoming calls to line cards are added to the AHS Table. These new or modified entries are auto-
matically synchronized to the other CPM (if used) in real time.
The SG-System 5 logs "AHS Database Full" when the AHS table has reached capacity. The SG-System 5 continues to log "AHS Database Full" at
mignight every day until space is made in the AHS table is made by deleting entries. The AHS table size is available through license from 250,000
entries to 1,000,000 entries. Please contact your local sales representative for more information on how to acquire additional licenses.
NOTE: The SG- SG-SYS5MEM4 is required to have AHS support and includes the initial 250,000 AHS entries.
