
3. Find an anatomical point on the live ultrasound image (left side)
4. Click on
Ultrasound
under Record Position to freeze the ultrasound
image
5. Click on the anatomical point to be registered on the ultrasound image
6. Move the probe to find the 2nd modality slice with the same
anatomical point
7. Click on 2nd Modality under Record Position to freeze the image
8. Click on the anatomical point on the 2nd modality image
The live ultrasound image is now perfectly synchronized with the 2nd
Modality on a specific anatomical point.
The Navigation Mode is the main application of Fusion/Navigation:
providing additional real-time image information from a 2nd modality
side by side to the live ultrasound screen. Additionally, the virtually
computed 2nd modality image might be overlapped on the current
ultrasound situation.
Once the Registration is correctly performed, click on the
NAV
icon on
the right side of the screen.
Use the
TouchRing
or
PW
to change the priority between the
ultrasound image and the 2nd modality.
