4.3 Input/Output Ports

See the figure below for the locations and descriptions of the I/O ports on the rear of the
motherboard.
UID Swiitch
A Unit Identifier (UID) switch and a UID LED indicator are located on the rear of the system.
When you press the UID switch, both front and rear UID LED indicators are toggled on or
off. The UID indicators provide easy identification of a system in a rack. The UID can also
be triggered using the BMC.
The BMC can be reset using the UID switch. See
Section 7.8 for details.
