Internal Hard Drives
The storage module in the 7089P-TR4T supports up to six 3.5" or eight 2.5" fixed HDDs.
Installing or removing these drives requires the module to be removed from the chassis.
Removing a Storage Module
1. Begin by removing power from the system as described in Section 3-1.
2. Each release lever on the module has a locking latch. Push both latches to unlock the
levers.
3. Grasp the release levers on both ends of the module and pull outward as shown below.
4. The module should disengage, allowing you to pull it completely out of the chassis.
5.
Put the module on a flat, non-conductive surface before removing or installing the
internal hard drives.
