Chapter 3: Maintenance and Component Installation

Preparing the CPU Socket for Installation

The CPU socket comes with a plastic protective cover, which needs to be removed before
installing the Processor Heatsink Module (PHM). Do this by gently squeezing the grip tabs

then pulling the cover off.
