Chapter 4: Blade Module Features
Memory Support
The SBI-4129P-T3N/C2N SuperBlade module supports up to 2 TB of RDIMM, 128 GB
of UDIMM and 2 TB LRDIMM DDR4 2400/2666/3200 MHz speed, 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB,
64 GB and 128 GB size SDRAM memory in sixteen (16) 288-pin DIMM sockets per
node. See

mainboard memory installation.
Hard Disk Drives
The SBI-4129P-T3N/C2N blade unit accommodates up to three 2.5" SATA/SSD/NVMe
hard disk drives (max two NVMe), which are mounted in drive “trays”. The drives can be
hot-swapped and removed or replaced without powering down the blade unit they reside
in. The three drives can be used to set up a RAID array. These drives use a blue color
for the Blade HDD active LED. See

Additional drives can be added by a module card mounted in the front.

Caution: To maintain proper airflow, both hard drive bays must have drive carriers inserted
during operation whether or not a drive is installed in the tray.
