Chapter 1: Introduction
Details on installation of memory modules into the SBI-4129P-T3N/C2N SuperBlade
module are found in
Chapter 3: "Setup and Installation" on page 3-1 .
Storage
The SBI-4129P-T3N/C2N SuperBlade modules can have the following configurations in
front-mounted easy removable carriers.
Additionally, both blade modules can each have one on board PCI-E X4 M.2 connector.
They both can have an additional AOM card consisting of four PCI-E X4 M.2 connectors
for four additional M.2 drives.

RAID
Each SBI-4129P-T3N/C2N blade module supports up to three hard drives, which may
create either a RAID 0 and 1 system for the SBI-4129P-C2N, or RAID 0,1 and 5 for the
SBI-4129P-T3N blade module.

Density
A maximum of 20 blade modules may be installed into a single blade enclosure. Each
blade enclosure is a 8U form factor, so a standard 42U rack may accommodate up to
five enclosures with 100 blade modules, or the equivalent of 100 1U servers. With the
inclusion of five CMM modules, ten Gigabit Ethernet switches and five InfiniBand/
Omni-Phi switches, this would occupy up to 115U space in a conventional 1U server
configuration.
