Secure Boot Settings
Secure boot is a feature of UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) that en
-
sures boot loaders are digitally signed and validated. This chapter provides instruc-
tions on how to enable the secure boot features.
6-1 Boot Mode Select Feature
Press <DEL> during system boot to enter the BIOS Setup utility. Navigate to the Boot
tab. Use the arrow keys to select Boot mode select and press <Enter>. The options
are LEGACY, UEFI, and DUAL. Set Boot mode select to UEFI. For the changes to
take effect, press <F4> to save the settings and exit the BIOS Setup utility.
