Install the Hood after fireplace is cool
NOTE:
All models must have a hood installed prior to operation.
NOTE:
Hood is slotted and has some adjustment. It is suggested that the center screw should be installed first and
the ends last.
1.
Attach hood using provided screws as shown here (
Figure 40
).
WARNING
Reinstall any barrier removed before operating the fireplace. The barrier is designed to reduce the risk of
burns from hot glass. Do not operate the fireplace without the barrier installed.
NOTE:
All models must have a barrier installed prior to operation.

CAUTION
Wear cut resistant gloves and protective clothing during this process.

Installation / replacement of blower.
NOTE
: Follow blower installation instructions (included with blower). See
Page 65
for ordering information.
A. If unit is not installed: locate the access panel of left hand
side of unit and remove (2 screws) or remove the barrier
assembly and remove the front lower access panel (2
screws).
B. If unit is installed with optional facade, remove facade
and follow Step A. If unit is installed with finishing
material that do not allow for front lower access panel to
be removed, follow steps below after unit is completely
cooled.
1.
Remove barrier assembly and glass door.
2.
Remove all media and perforated glass media tray.
3.
Remove burner (one screw) and pilot.
4.
Remove pan that is inset into floor being careful not
to damage gasket.
5.
Blower access is now possible.
6.
Once complete, reassemble unit using the reverse
of the steps above.

C. Install Blower
Slide the blower assembly through the front / or side opening
to the middle rear area of the cabinet base. Position the blower
assembly so the tabs in the cabinet base are seated in the
notches of the blower bracket. Then bend the tabs over to secure
the blower assembly
