M12 X 1.75 X 110mm BOLT
M12 X 1.75 X 130mm BOLT
M12 X 1.75 X 120mm BOLT
M12 X 1.75 X 160mm BOLT
M12 FLAT WASHER
M12 SPRIG WASHER
M12 X 1.75 NYLOCK NUTS
CAUTION
Please ensure all bolts are tightened to
correct torque setting with Loctite.
NOTE: working on one side at a time can make
installation easier.
1.
Start with the vehicles front and rear wheels
chocked and the vehicle in gear or park with the
hand brake on.
2.
Remove the factory side steps as per vehicle
service manual. (If fitted). As well as the two
guards seen in figure 1 and 2.
3.
Hold the Superior Engineering Slider in place and
loosely fit all M12 bolts using spring and flat
washers through the slider’s mounting plate
holes. Using M12 nuts where needed.
NOTE: Ensure the all mount are underneath any
fuel, AC or brake lines.
4.
Make sure the slider is in its correct position with
the front and rear of the slider profile having an
even gap from the body of the vehicle.
5.
Tighten all bolts to correct torque settings.
6.
Re attach factory guard that were removed earlier
WARNING
Take care in not bending or breaking any of
the fuel, A/C or brake lines. They may need
to be moved slightly to make the sliders fit.
Make sure there is clearance between the
lines and the mount.
7.
Check over vehicle and make sure the slider do
not fowl on any components and has clearance in-
between the body and the slider.

NOTE
There are different length bolts. The 110mm
bolts are for the rear mounts. The 120mm
are for the driver side middle mounts. The
130mm bolt is for the passenger side middle
mount. The 160mm bolts are for the front
mounts.
