5.2 FILTER CLEANING
Clean the filter regularly. Clean the filter
• before replacing the waste collection bag
• when work is completed
• when there is poor suction
To clean the filter, follow the procedure shown below.
Cover the inlet and use attached cover (pos.14 Fig1) if applicable. First, let the machine build up a vacuum for four to
five seconds then quickly push down on the key (pos.15 Fig1) and release it. Repeat the procedure five times. It is
important to let the machine rebuild the vacuum in between every repetition. Turn off the motor and wait until it stops
completely, then uncover the inlet. If suction remains poor, replace the main filter. If this does not improve suction, the
Hepa filter needs to be replaced. See instructions in chapter 5.3. FILTER CHANGE
.
5.3 FILTER CHANGE
IMPORTANT: All of the following procedures must be
performed with the dust collector turned off and the power
cable disconnected from the power source. Before
performing any work or maintenance on the vacuum, be sure
to wear the proper protective equipment. This may include
clothing which covers any exposed skin, protective eyewear,
a respirator, and/or protective gloves conforming to protection
class FFP3.
To change the main filter, first loosen the 4 clamps (pos.1)
and remove the motor head (pos.2), taking care not to
damage the power cable. Lift out the used filter (pos.3), and
place it gently in a plastic bag. This bag must be properly
disposed of. Insert a new filter.
CAUTION: If you are removing the Main filter in order to clean
it, hitting the filter with force or use of compressed air will
destroy the filter. It can handle water, but high pressure water
cleaning will destroy it.
