Using the Sunleaves Micro-Sun

The Sunleaves Micro-Sun is compatible with horizontal or universal-type metal halide or high pressure sodium lamps of the
appropriate wattage.

Instructions:
1. Remove the Sunleaves Micro-Sun Lens by rotating the retainer tab up and carefully sliding the lens out.

2. Screw a metal halide or high pressure sodium lamp of appropriate wattage securely into the socket.

3. Carefully slide the lens back into place and secure it by rotating the retainer tab back down.

4. Attach the provided hanging hardware to the fixture housing. Be sure the hooks are secure, then hang the fixture with a
chain or strong cord. The fixture should hang level.

5. Plug the three-pronged power cord into a grounded 120V receptacle and turn the unit on.

Troubleshooting:

If you’re having problems with your Sunleaves Micro-Sun, try the following solutions first:

Make sure that all plugs, cords and other external electrical elements are properly installed.

Check the outlet and breaker to ensure that power is being supplied to the Micro-Sun. If the breaker is tripped, turn the unit
off and unplug the cord from the power supply. Wait five minutes for the system to cool, then plug the power cord back in.
Push the white breaker button, then flip the Micro-Sun’s power switch back on.

Examine the lamp for damage or other problems. (ONLY IF THE LAMP IS COOL ENOUGH TO TOUCH. IF THE LAMP WAS
POWERED ON AND SUDDENLY STOPPED WORKING, ALLOW IT TO COOL BEFORE CHECKING IT. NEVER TOUCH A HOT
LAMP). Make sure the lamp is the correct wattage and type for your system. The Sunleaves Micro-Sun will only operate prop-
erly with a lamp of the same wattage.

Is it time to clean your bulb or lens? Make sure the

system is unplugged and completely cool before proceeding
