CHOOSING A MOUNTING LOCATION

For best results affix the unit on a solid surface, 2 -
2.5m (6.5 – 8 feet) above the ground

Avoid  aiming  the  unit  at  pools,  heating  vents,  air
conditioners,  or  other  objects  which  change  in
temperature rapidly

Sunlight falling directly on the front of the unit may
affect video quality. It is recommended to test the
location prior to installation.

Try  to  avoid  pointing  the  unit  at  trees,  shrubs  or
where the motion of pets may often be detected

The  motion  sensor  is  more  sensitive  to  objects
moving  across  its  field  of  view.  It  is  less  sensitive
to  an  object  moving  directly  towards  the  sensor
head. (FIGURE 32).

operate at high temperatures

When  mounting  on  the  wall,  the  unit  must  be
installed  vertically  (FIGURE  33a),  not  horizontally
(FIGURE 33b).
