IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

HOW TO USE YOUR RENUE

™

TENSION

RELIEVING HEAT THERAPY PAD

Make sure Control Connector is securely connected to the

Renue

™

Pad Connector

(Figure 1)

. Push both parts together

for a tight fit.

NOTE:

The connectors are keyed to only fit one

way; align arrow.

1. Plug into 120V AC electrical outlet.

2. To turn on, press Push-Button. Renue

™

pad will NOT turn

on until you press the Push-Button.

NOTE:

If the heat level

indicators do not light up or stay on, the plug or Control

Connector may not be firmly and completely connected.

Unplug from wall outlet, check the Renue

™

pad

connection again and re-plug into outlet.

3. Select from 4 heat settings by pressing Push-Button successively to achieve desired heat

level.

To turn OFF, you must scroll through the remaining heat settings by pressing

the Push-Button sequentially.

4. Allow Renue

™

pad to preheat for several minutes. Renue

™

pad has been designed to meet

the maximum heat output according to UL Standards.

NOTE:

A red blinking “High” light indicates an error has occurred. Unplug from outlet, verify

physical condition of cord, function of AC outlet and proper connection between connector

and Renue

™

Pad. If blinking light persists, discontinue use and contact Consumer Services.

USING MOIST HEAT THERAPY

In some cases, you may find that moist heat therapy provides

more comfort and tension relief.

When using moist heat

therapy, you should protect furniture and clothing from

becoming damp.

1. Dampen one side of the Renue

™

pad with water by patting

the surface with a wet sponge or cloth or use a spray bottle

to apply a fine mist. Do not thoroughly soak Renue

™

pad.

2. Do not spray or dampen the connector.

Do not immerse Renue

™

pad or connector in water or place under running

water. Failure to comply may result in product failure and/or personal injury.

NOTE:

The electrical connector must be thoroughly dry before establishing electrical connection.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

DO NOT DRY CLEAN! DO NOT USE BLEACH! DO NOT USE WRINGER!

1. Disconnect Renue

™

pad from outlet.

2. Detach Renue

™

pad Connector from Control Connector.

3. Machine wash Renue

™

pad in cold water on gentle cycle, or hand wash. Tumble dry on

low heater or line dry.

4. Do not plug in Renue

™

pad until pad connector is completely dry.

AUTO-OFF FEATURE

Your Renue

™

controller includes an Auto-Off feature. This feature is designed to conserve

energy by automatically turning off after 2 hours of continuous use. The red Auto-Off light

will blink, indicating that this feature has activated.

NOTE:

After a power outage, the Auto-Off

feature automatically resets the timer.

Tension Relieving Heat Therapy is specifically designed to fit the neck and shoulder

area, where users experience the most physical signs of tension and stress. Drape Renue

™

comfortably on your shoulders making sure that the neck flap is properly in place. Weighted

edges and intergrated magnets help to secure Renue

™

in place.

NOTE:

This product utilizes magnets to fasten at the neck area. Remove necklaces and other metal

accessories that could become attached to these magnets.

HOW TO USE YOUR RENUE

™

TENSION

RELIEVING HEAT THERAPY PAD

Push both parts together for a tight fit. Note: The connectors

are keyed to only fit one way; align arrow.

1. Plug into 120V AC electrical outlet.

2. To turn on, press Push-Button. Renue

until you press the Push-Button.

If the heat level

indicators do not light up or stay on, the plug or Control

This product has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This

plug fits a polarized outlet only one way; if the plug does not fit fully into the

outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.

2-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

Sunbeam Products, Inc. doing business as Jarden Consumer Solutions or if in Canada, Sunbeam Corporation

(Canada) Limited doing business as Jarden Consumer Solutions (collectively “JCS”) warrants that for a period

of two years from the date of purchase, this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship. JCS,

at its option, will repair or replace this product or any component of the product found to be defective during the

warranty period. Replacement will be made with a new or remanufactured product or component. If the product

is no longer available, replacement may be made with a similar product of equal or greater value. This is your

exclusive warranty. Do NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this product.

Doing so will void this warranty.

This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not

transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty performance. JCS

dealers, service centers, or retail stores selling JCS products do not have the right to alter, modify or any way

change the terms and conditions of this warranty.

This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the following: negligent use or

misuse of the product, use on improper voltage or current, use contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly,

repair or alteration by anyone other than JCS or an authorized JCS service center. Further, the warranty does not

cover: Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes and tornadoes.

What are the limits on JCS’s Liability?

JCS shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the breach of any express, implied

or statutory warranty or condition.

Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness

for a particular purpose is limited in duration to the duration of the above warranty.

JCS disclaims all other warranties, conditions or representations, express, implied, statutory or otherwise.

JCS shall not be liable for any damages of any kind resulting from the purchase, use or misuse of, or inability

to use the product including incidental, special, consequential or similar damages or loss of profits, or for any

breach of contract, fundamental or otherwise, or for any claim brought against purchaser by any other party.

Some provinces, states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages
