General Description:
The
Sure and Secure™ Extra Tall Top-of-Stairs Gate with Alarm
from Summer
Infant is hardware-mounted and helps you create and maintain a secure
environment for your child. It is especially suitable for the top or bottom of the
stairs. It has special hardware that allows you to install it so the hinged swinging
door opens only in one direction away from the stairs. The gate also features an
alarmed latch that sounds if gate is opened by a child. Alarm also has a parent
override button that provides a 10 second delay for easy passage. The easy to use one handed latch is
convenient if your hands are full. Gate door also swings closed automatically. The gate is fully
adjustable to fit openings from 28” to 54” wide and mounts extra tall at 36” to make it more difficult to
climb or step over. Child resistant latch keeps gate secure. Even works in doorways with baseboards.

Installation:
Hardware mounted gates are meant to be a safety device. Therefore, the consumer
should plan on about an hour for proper installation. A template is provided in the
packaging to make the installation as easy as possible. Please refer to instruction
