Pull out the assembly along its axis after loosening the
four screws (1). Remove the belt (2). Remove the toothed
pulley (3). This is secured with a radial setscrew. Remo-
ve the belt (4). This is secured with one (or two) radial
setscrew.
When removing the belt, make sure that the belt drive for
the feed rate does not twist. Otherwise, the configured
zero point will change.
This can lead to damage on the tool.
Lubricate the components in accordance with Section
4.1.2 «Examining the belts and lubricating the polygon
shaft». Mount the new belt drive aligned correctly to the
bearings, and push the assembly back into the body.
Again install the machine by following the above instruc-
tions in reverse order, noting the belt tension.
After changes, check that the dimension 37.5 on the out-
line dimension drawing (page 4) is observed when the
machine is at the reference point.
Keep the machine clean!
Note the correct belt tension!

Remove covers (1). Loosen the belt tensioner (2). Unscrew
the motor, and mount it on the other side (3). Tighten the
belt tensioner, and put the covers back on.
When the motor’s position is changed, the motor’s sense
of direction must be revesed, i.e. two power cables must
be exchanged at the asynchronous motor.

The machine may be controlled only via the SUH-
NER software or the inputs.

The machine is programmed with the software described
in the technical document no. 30004794 («Programming

The inputs and outputs must be wired in accordance
with «Diagrams» (pages 10-19). The connections are to
be provided with a closing contact. Optionally, there are
inputs available for additional queries:
Limit switches for rear end position, for front end position,
for reference point.
These optional queries must be integrated and connect-
ed by the integrator. A receiver for cylindrical limit switch-
es has already been provided for installing the reference
point query (diameter 4 mm, M6 x 0.75).
There are an additional eight inputs (110A2:20-23 and
110A2:30-33) and outputs (110A6:20-23 and 110A6:30-
33) available that can be considered in the machining
programs in every sentence. For instance, the use of
coolants can be regulated to great precision.
Parameters can therefore be configured, inputs and out-
puts examined, and programs entered.
