Chapter 8: Maintenance
Updating the Reagent Installation Information
After installing the reagent, set the installation date:
1. Press
SETUP
from the
Main Menu.
2. Highlight
MAINTENANCE
and press
ENTER
.
3. Highlight
REAGENT
and press
ENTER
.
4. Highlight
INSTALL REAGENT
and press
ENTER
.
5. The install time is automatically set to the current date. The expected lifetime of the reagent is
90 days. Press
ENTER
to confirm setting the install date to the current date and to return to the
previous menu.
6. Press
EXIT
three times to return to the
Main Menu
.
Setting the Reagent Warning Level
Set this warning level to specify the number of days to be alerted prior to the reagent needing to be
replaced (1 through 90 days; default is 30). The warning message is displayed as an "R" in the
maintenance alert area of the screen. The Analyzer continues to operate until the reagent sensor detects
an actual low level in the reservoir. The following are the recommended values to set based on the sample
interval selected:

3. Highlight

ENTER

4. Highlight
EDIT WARNING LEVEL
and press
ENTER
.
5. Use the
UP
and
DOWN
arrow keys to adjust the warning level to the desired number of days.
Once the warning level is set, press
ENTER
to return to the previous menu.
6. Press
EXIT
three times to return to the
Main Menu
