Chapter 6: Setting Up Inputs and Outputs
AC Frequency
The
AC FREQUENCY
for the Analyzer is set at the factory to 60 Hz. The
AC FREQUENCY
should be set
to match the AC power input to the Analyzer. To change the default to 50 Hz:
1. Press
SETUP
from the
Main Menu
to access the
SETUP
menu.
2. Using the
UP
and
DOWN
arrow keys, highlight
INPUT/OUTPUT
and press
ENTER
.
3. Using the
UP
and
DOWN
arrow keys, highlight
AC FREQUENCY
and press
ENTER
.
4. Toggle the
UP
and
DOWN
arrow keys to select the 50 Hz setting.
5. Press
ENTER
to accept the change and exit the menu.
Serial Port
The
SERIAL PORT o
ption defines the baud rate of the serial RS-232 output. The default baud rate is
19,200. In order to use the RS-232 output, this value must match the baud rate of the computer to which
the RS-232 is connected. To modify the serial output baud rate:
1. Press
SETUP
from the
Main Menu
to access the
SETUP
menu.
2. Using the
UP
and
DOWN
arrow keys, highlight
INPUT/OUTPUT
and press
ENTER
.
3. Using the
UP
and
DOWN
arrow keys, highlight
SERIAL OUTPUT
and press
ENTER
.
4. The baud rate value is highlighted. Use or to modify the value.
5. Press
ENTER
to accept the change and exit the menu.
Printer Type
The
PRINTER TYPE
option allows you to set the type of printer being used for output data. To set the
printer type:
1.
Select
PRINTER TYPE
from the
INPUT/OUTPUT
menu and press
ENTER
.
2. Use the
UP
and
DOWN
arrow keys to select the appropriate printer type.
3. Press
ENTER
to save the setting.
