Chapter 5: System Configuration
CAL. CONSTANTS
This option allows the user to view and edit the calibration constants of the Analyzer. The calibration
constants are crucial for your Analyzer's success. Recording the calibration constants is the first step in the
calibration of the Analyzer. After a calibration is completed, the calibration constants are updated
automatically. To access the
CAL. CONSTANTS menu:
1. Press SETUP from the Main Menu .
2. Highlight the ADVANCED menu option, select CAL. CONSTANTS , and press ENTER .
To access the calibration constants for either boron or the conductivity cells:
1. Highlight either BORON or COND CELL, respectively, and press ENTER .
2. Press EXIT to return to the Setup menu.
• Calibration constants are determined at the factory. Except for the recording of the calibration
constants prior to running a calibration, there should be no need to access the
CAL. CONSTANTS menu.
CELL CONSTANTS
This option displays the constants that describe the specific conductivity cell and thermistor that are
installed in the Analyzer. These constants are preset at the factory and should not be changed unless
directed to do so by Technical Support or your local service provider.
SERIAL PORT
This option allows additional diagnostic data to be output over the serial port. This should not be changed
unless directed to do so by Technical Support or your local service provider. Press
EXIT to return to the
Setup menu.
INFO
Select this option from the Main Menu to display Analyzer information. This screen appears for four
seconds and then the screen returns to the Main Menu screen. This screen displays the company logo the
Analyzer model type, the Analyzer's serial number, the firmware revision level, the year the firmware was
released, and the toll free service telephone number.
PRINT
Select this option from the Main Menu to access the PRINT menu. The PRINT menu has seven options:
DATA, 12 HOURS
This option will print the last twelve hours of data collected.
DATA, 72 HOURS
This option will print the last 72 hours of data collected.
