Chapter 5: System Configuration
MESSAGES
The
MESSAGES
option allows you to view the error or warning messages.
1. To view error and warning messages press
VIEW
from the
Main Menu
.
2. Highlight
MESSAGES
by using the arrow keys. Pressing
ENTER
with
MESSAGES
option
highlighted will display the Analyzers log of error and warning messages.
• The message log is sorted by code number, which is shown in the upper-left corner of the
screen. The message log displays the last error or warning message that has occurred for the
code number shown. The number of times the error or warning message has occurred, the
date and time of the most-recent occurrence, and a brief description of the error or warning are
shown as well.
• The description field also contains a code for the severity of the error, where M = Maintenance,
W = Warning, and F = Fatal Error). When "0" for the
# OF OCCURRENCES
and "NOT
APPLICABLE" for
LAST
appear, no error or warning has occurred for the code number shown.
• The
NEXT
and
PREV
keys allow you to scroll through the message log by code number.
3. Press
EXIT
once to exit the message log and return to the previous menu, or twice to return to the
Main Menu
.

DEBUG
The
DEBUG
option is a diagnostic tool for viewing certain parameters within the Analyzer and should only
be accessed in the event of a firmware malfunction where you have been directed to view this information
by Technical Support or your local service provider.
SETUP
1. Press
SETUP
from the
Main Menu
to access the seven available setup options:
MODE,
INSTRUMENT LOCATION, CLOCK, INPUT/OUTPUT, MAINTENANCE, STREAM SETUP
, and
ADVANCED
.
• The
MODE
option allows you set the mode of operation of the Analyzer.
• The
INSTRUMENT LOCATION
option allows you to specify the location of the Analyzer within
your facility.
• The
CLOCK
option allows you to set the date and time on the Analyzer.
• The
INPUT/OUTPUT
option allows you to setup the inputs and outputs on the Analyzer.
• The
MAINTENANCE
option lets you modify the status of the maintenance items.
• The
STREAM SETU
P option lets you setup the stream configuration.
• The
ADVANCED
option displays the advanced
Setup
menu, which provides diagnostics and
calibration constants setup.
