Front Panel Display
Selected Mode
The current selected mode of operation.
Maintenance Alert Area
When any of six letters are displayed in this area, one of the Analyzer's components requires maintenance.
The following letters represent the maintenance that is required for proper operation:
C
= No data card is present or the data card is the wrong serial number
R
= Reagent supply requires replacement
T
= Sample pump tubing requires replacement
Z
= Zero column requires replacement
D
= Reagent column requires replacement
P
= Printer is not available (if configured)
Countdown Clock
Amount of time remaining to perform selected mode, once it has started.
Information Display
Messages, measurements, and instructions are displayed in this area.
Menu/Control Options
The available menus or control options available in the current state and menu.
Soft Launch Keys
The keys to press to begin an activity or access menus.
Started and Stopped Stages of Operation
There are two states of operation for the Analyzer—started and stopped. When the Analyzer is performing
a mode of operation, it is in the started state and can be stopped by pressing
STOP
. When the Analyzer is
not performing a mode of operation, it is in the stopped state. When the Analyzer is in the stopped state,
pressing
START
can start the selected mode of operation. Different menu options are available depending
